Botulinum toxin

Learn about the benefits of using Botox in the face for men and
women to have a beautiful, relaxed and natural appearance

How does Botox work?

Botox is the trade name for Botulinum Toxin Type A, made by Allergan labs. The toxin is also known as Dysport, Xeomin, Revitary, and other brands. It’s a substance used in aesthetic medicine since the 80’s to beautify the face and remove marks and furrows on the face.

Botox works by blocking nerve signals to the muscles, so the injected muscle can’t contract, and the wrinkles disappear. The substance was used for Brain Palsy treatment to eliminate involuntary movements.

The Botulinum Toxin Type A application is in controlled doses and consists of relaxing the muscles to erase the lines of expression when it blocks the nerve impulses that generate muscle contractions.

This substance eliminates rigidity generated by gestures such as laughter, anger, or surprise, among others that create facial wrinkles over time and helps to get natural results to beautify the face.

The substance and the brands are approved by the American FDA and Mexican health agencies for esthetic medicine.

What is Baby Botox?

Most people think that Botox is only indicated for older people who already have wrinkles in the upper part of the face caused by expression lines over time.

This idea changed completely with the so-called Baby Botox, the application of small amounts of Botulinum Toxin Type A in people between 18 and 35 years old.

Young patients show a stronger beautifying effect because their body reacts better to the substance, muscles relax and involuntary gestures that generate wrinkles even at a young age are inhibited.

Baby Botox has also been called Preventive Botox because the muscle relaxation prevents expression lines from turning into permanent wrinkles that deepen over the years after the age of 35.

The application of Botox in young people became fashionable in cities such as New York, Paris, and London, where the application in the so-called Botox Bars became a trend among young men and women, who are now using the substance to show off beautiful faces.
